^^^ It is also hilarious, with an on point Peter Sellers.

Omg Peter Sellers totally sold that film lol (Pun intended). Love how you could hear him making the crew laugh. A great dark comedy.

    A great comedian and actor.

While on this homage to Peter Sellers moment, may I also draw everyone's attention to the following films:

    • 1959 I'm Alright Jack
    • 1962 Kubrick's Lolita, where he plays an unnerving Clare Quilty
    • 1963-78 and the original Pink Panther films, with Sellers as Clouseau and my ever beloved Pink Panther theme from Henry Mancini
    • 1967 Casino Royale where he has a small role as Evelyn Tremble pretending to be Bond.

And of course, my absolutely beloved Goon Show that no matter how inappropriate it is I will always adore. Talk about setting up my sense of humour for adulthood.

He died far too young and spent too much time hating his own work.

The last film I watched was a few days ago when I watched 'The Girl with the Dragon tattoo' (Män som hatar kvinnor) - I.E. The Swedish version.

I'd never seen this film. Nor the American one bar it being on in rooms I was in but not really paying attention. I thought it was a decent film, I liked that it wasn't Hollywood, it's setting, and it provided plenty of mystery solving and action/revenge scenes. It then took me a day or 2 to realise that the reason I liked the film was because of the character Noomi. Because A. She was a babe, and B. She was by far the most interesting character in the film. I imagined the film if it had had another (anti) heroine, a plain girl, and the film becomes very ordinary, nothing special etc.
