Default In Your Ears Listening The Fourth

Time to freshen this one up, The Previous Installment was getting vast.

I need to get a chance to sit down with Lazaretto in full at some stage soon, but from that age-old thing of beauty; the radio, I have fallen in love with Jack White's track Would You Fight For My Love?. Everything that was great about The White Stripes, but with so much more body to it, combining its haunting melody, with the traditional bludgeoning basslines, and those soft piano keys.

    It's so lovely.

Perhaps in contrast somewhat, but when I started making the thread, I was listening to White Zombie's version of Children Of The Grave, which is always a blast. Recent joys have also included Flogging Molly, Uriah Heep, and a fairly large selection of classic dub Reggae.

    Have fun with new thread!

    Good ol' Pat the Bunny

Lyrically, one of my favorites of any artist. This song was written right before Pat went off to rehab, once his friends started dying off, so it hits particularly well.

I'm a sucker for synthy things. So far this album has a very Duran Duran vibe to it.

I came across these guys recently. A crazy good German power metal band.

I just wish I would have discovered them sooner.

Not a huge fan of the vocals of this band but I gotta say the sound of the band isn't too half bad in this age of post hardcore bullshit.
