I checked Warship a few times with different techniques and it's definitely not a voice - probably synth/texture effect only. If it was a voice at the beginning it's been so manipulated that there's no way to tell what it may have been.

Here's a clean up of the Slave sample "You can't expect me to explain the lyrics because I won't do it" which from all I can tell is attributed as a Lou Reed quote

I like how that sample is mixed. Sounds cool and fits the song. I think Slave... represents most of the album. It's working title could be "The Pale Emperor", aside from TMOLA's working title.

It sounds like some sort of deconstruction of this Lou Reed quote. This is the full quote, which you can't hear in the song, but in full, it does sound like something that Marilyn Manson would repeat in reference to himself.

You are correct. It seems to be along the lines of "You can't ask me to explain the lyrics because I won't do it. You understand that, right?
I won't do it. You understand that, right? You can't ask me to explain the lyrics because I won't do it." spoken by a woman with a man saying something like "I just want you to..." at various points.

I can hear it too and always heard a voice at the beginning of The speed of pain too. MM songs are full of secret we may know when HQ multitraks are released...
