    Default Saddest Song

You all seemed to like my previous thread, "Most Aggressive MM Song", so here's another one. What is the saddest song lyric-wise from MM? I originally thought of "Into The Fire", but after listening to the lyrics again, it really doesn't sound sad. It sounds like he's overcoming his problems, and leaving his bad life behind. Same with "Breaking The Same Old Ground". "15" is pretty sad, though. The lyrics describe being alone with nobody to help you. "In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death" belongs here too. That song is about wishing you could be something greater, and feeling worthless. I'm not going to explain every sad song, but here is the list of the saddest ones IMO.

    In no particular order:

    -15
-Fifteen (Alternate/acoustic version of "15"; even more sad-sounding than the original)
-In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death
    -Coma Black
    -Coma White
    -The Last Day On Earth
    -Disassociative
    -Untitled (From MA, track 15)
    -A Place In The Dirt
    -Minute Of Decay
    -Obsequey [The Death of Art]
    -Just A Car Crash Away
-They Said That Hell's Not Hot
    -Mister Superstar
    -Unkillable Monster
-Running To The Edge Of The World
    -Odds Of Even
-Fall Of The House Of Death

I feel as though there is actually a correct/objective answer to this question but I can't figure out if it's Coma White, Disassociative, The Speed of Pain, or The Last Day On Earth.

Last Day on Earth - there is heavy amount of sorrow that drips form this song for me.
"And We Will Sleep on the Skin of Its Nightmares..."

I added "Coma White", "The Last Day On Earth" and "Disassociative" after listening to them over again. Should "Apple Of Sodom" be on the list as well? I can't tell is it's angry or sad.

It's a very hard choice between Minute Of Decay, Disassociative, The Speed of Pain, A Place In The Dirt, Lamb of God, Coma Black and Fall of the House of Death. If I would have to pick just one, I would probably go with either Disassociative or A Place In The Dirt.

I can't believe that no one (besides the OP) has mentioned the TRULY saddest MM song, ever. And I know it because, of all the MM songs I know how to play in the guitar, this always has a tremendous impact with non-Manson fans.

IN THE SHADOW OF THE VALLEY OF DEATH
    , period.

You are correct. I meant to add that one as well.
