Trés strange. That Manson - what a card!
To revenge the misdeeds of the ruling class, there existed in the middle ages, in Germany, a secret tribunal, called the “Vehmgericht.” If a red cross was seen marked on a house, people knew that its owner was doomed by the “Vehm.”

All the houses of Europe are now marked with the mysterious red cross.

    And in this Camden performance?
There are some parts of Holy Grail but some other things too.

By the way, does someone has a recording of the Mashantucket performance?

Fun fact: he doesn't always sing the same parts of the songs. When singing The End, the more we go in the tour, the more he changes the lyrics to add his own ironic comments.

That is Camden and that's me with the multicolored bracelets and black gloves filming him right in front of his face during the whole episode with the little girl, lol. And it's just "Holy Grail" and him being chatty there, btw.

And, yeah, despite some serious problems with venue security I filmed (most of) the Mashantucket show and that night he did "Fuck this Game" by Cage and "Rape Me" Nirvana. Click back a page, I posted a list of all the songs he did during "Lunchbox" at the 10 End Times shows I filmed.

    Santa Ana

Update: I found two new songs he covered.

In Dallas, there was parts of Fuck This Game too.

In Toronto, he sang parts of Time of the Season by The Zombies.

In Chicago, he sang parts of Harley David (Son of a Bitch) by the Bollock Brothers, and a very free cover of the End.

Now my main problem is to recognize what he sang in the Santa Ana performance (see video link above). I heard some parts of Straight Outta Compton ( the "Niggaz with attitude" part) but except that, I don't know. If someone wants to help...

    Here you go:
This is what he's singing during the bridge: "What's your name? (What's your name?) / Who's your daddy? (Who's your daddy?) / Is he rich? (Is he rich like me?)" After that he goes into The End.

Thanks a lot for that Haz!

I listened carefully and I can complete with a few precisions:

    - I had a hard time trying to recognize which part of Straight Outta Compton he was singing. Actually, he's just singing some memories of it and it's really far from the real song. You can hear something starting like: "Straight Outta Compton!/ THree niggaz with attitude/ Big dicks...". THere's nothing like this in the song, of course. I'd like to know more precisely what he's saying, but I can't understand and english is not my first language, so help would be appreciated if someone wants to.

    - The most complete version of Holy Grail is the Camden one.

    - I confirm that he sings Time of the Season, from The Zombies, in Toronto, and Harley David (Son of A Bitch) from The Bollock Brothers in Chicago.

    - Actually, he did NOT cover Talking Head's Once in a lifetime in Cincinatti. You can listen to the recordings (link above in this thread). Here is what he's singing:
"And I think to myself... why not shoot up my own school?"
It's an obvious reference to school shootings, but we are very far from Once in a lifetime lyrics. If it's supposed to be a reference, take a look at Sticky Fingaz's WOnderful world, which parody Armstrong's Wonderful World with an explicite reference to trenchcoat kids doing school shootings.

    - Last but not least, I still cannot say what he's singing during the Santa Ana performance.

Glad to help! Sorry again for all my massive delays in here. I'd participate more (and still have PLENTY more footage to share!) but technical problems and constant travel make it difficult to do so in a timely and/or comprehensive manner, unfortunately.

On a related note, I'll have to provide full transcriptions later, but he is DEFINITELY covering "Straight Outta Compton" in my Boston footage above. Specifically, he's riffing off the lyric, "straight outta Compton, crazy mothafucka called Ice Cube from a band called Niggaz Wit Attitude," except he sings "straight outta Compton, Twiggy with an attitude" then adds some bits about "big dicks swingin' in your face now" and his WOW tattoo while comparing wrist tattoos with him and proclaiming them to be "blood brothers for life, blood brothers for life."

All of which I was already pretty sure was an allusion to Easy-E's A.I.D.S.-related death and Twiggy & Manson's occasional sucking of each other's cocks even BEFORE checking out your link to the Santa Ana performance!

Which, needless to say, is an EVEN MORE blatant example of the same thing, lol.

In Santa Ana he starts by taunting some guy in the crowd about his hat and putting it on some girl and fucking her later, stops himself from accidentally singing the old chant-along, cheerleader bit from the midsection back in the day, and eventually launches into "Straight Outta Condom" before likewise reminiscing about he a Twiggy sucking each other off, lololomfg.

None of which constitutes a PRECISE cover of the song, of course...but it's clear which song he's playing around with and therefore still counts as a cover, albeit a highly customized one, as far as I'm concerned.

Same goes for the cover of "Once in a Lifetime" by the Talking Heads in Cincinnati, btw!

Again, it's clear that he's improvising around the structure of those particular songs during a midsection break used for the express purpose of freestyling off-the-cuff lyrics from whatever songs he chooses to cover at that point on any given night, so I see no reason to NOT include "Straight Outta Compton" and "Once in a Lifetime" as examples of the same phenomenon.

Thanks again for that list of links, btw!

Cannot WAIT to dig through and transcribe all of them.
