He just said that he (Tyler) and Twiggy were working on it together. I think Tyler is the best choice for Manson.

As long as Tyler is there, it'll be great. Twiggy's much better when he has a better guitarist to work with.

I hope we get live drums again too.

    Neat.
A system organized around the weakest qualities of individuals will produce these same qualities in its leaders.

Fred should still be part of this band. I can well imagine Twiggy composing, Tyler orchestrating, and Fred just chilling the fuck out with his big 'ol bass running through a bunch of songs.

Great news of course though, especially as a Twiggy die-hard. You know, after this record, Twiggy will have written as many albums for Manson since his return to the band as he had prior to leaving. He's probably even written more music since returning than he originally contributed during The Triptych.

Ten albums as well, milestone record on the move!

That's so great to hear! I hope Manson brings TMOLA back to the set, since Tyler is back.

And I agree with S.D. when he says that Fred should be in the band. It would be awesome to hear him, Twiggy and Tyler jamming together.

Tyler mentions that he's learned to be patient through the years with people. Makes sense. lol

Tyler said that his process with Manson was very personal and interactive.

Works with Manson at night. Mentions that Manson was actually over until 2:30 AM in the morning working with him before the interview.

Playing a couple weeks on the upcoming tour.

Interesting to note that Tyler listened to Jesus Christ Superstar when he was a kid.

He seems to admire Manson. Kind of hard to explain. Start at 22:00.

Has fun writing with Manson. They seem to get along well.

Likes a combination of analog and digital. Has embraced digital due to time constraints. Works in Pro Tools quite a bit. Logic or Q-Base for programming. - Generally speaking.

Per TPE: Guitar - UA 610 Preamp
Mic'ed with SM57 through an old Peavey Classic 410 Amp

New Record - "More aggressive, guitar riffy stuff" More pedals, different microphones. More aggregro(sp)? guitar performance

    Think that covers it.

Thank you to everyone who transcribed the podcast for us. Having been a diehard fan since '98, I am very excited with the last few years worth of decisions the band has made.

Sounds good to me. While I do love TPE and Born Villain, I have been starved for something more aggressive or at least harder edged from Manson's music for a while.
