I have to keep Speed of Pain alive. It’s just so powerful....but here are two fan favorites...

I love Spade but Speed Of Pain is a masterpiece!

Man That You Fear is one hell of a song, and an album closer. However The Speed Of Pain can not be beat

I mean damn, they're quite different altogether, but I reckon Speed Of Pain wins it. I'm going to throw a spanner in the works, though, because although I love both, I actually think the latter of these two tips the scales...

Eat Me, Drink Me is without a doubt one of my top 5, maybe top 3 Manson songs so it's no contest. I just love how melodic and haunting it is. There's something about the song that also captures my imagination as well. The lyrics, the music, the ambient sound, it's one of my go-to tracks for creative writing.

    So picking my skin
    and my scales
    I see my horror
    mirrored in the
    sundown of your
    blank stare

Without getting too lost in the weeds about my shit, for me that always spoke to someone realizing they've become some kind of monster, but the other person knows. They've always known. And the only thing surprising to them is that it's taken the narrator this long to realize what they've become.

It's so unlike a lot of the other Manson output. The only other song off the top of my head that comes close would be...

EAT ME, DRINK ME vs In the Shadow of the Valley Of Death

Fantastic suggestion, I'm playing both NOW to provide a legitimate answer unless someone else gets there first...

Aight, so to be fair it's GOT to be Shadow Of The Valley Of Death... BUT, I would strongly pit that against...

Shadow Of The Valley Of Death, because it's Universal and well meaningful.

I feel like it's unfair to compare Holy Wood with Manson albums released either before or after, given how much of an achievement the record was. I'm not sure any other artist I can think of has achieved something on the scale that lineup did, so it goes to Shadow...

However, there are songs I feel have hit harder on various other albums, so I'll try...
