    Default Hed PE

I first heard about Hed PE in 2001 through MTV Return of the Rock - Volume 2 and the Dracula 2000 soundtrack. The songs were Waiting to Die and Swan Dive from their second album Broke. I would also always recommend Hed PE, Broke, Blackout and Only in Amerika for first-time listeners. I also thought that Back 2 Base X and Insomnia were pretty good too. It's been a while since I listened to this band, but they certainly held up for me in spite of their constant changes.

I've been on and off them as of late, but thought of following them again. The last Hed PE album I got were New World Orphans and Truth Rising, which I haven't listened to as much, and would often skip round them. They also seemed to be at their most prolific in the 2000s, so I could see how they could be a bit burnt out in the 2010s, along with the other changes they went through.

The time just keeps flying. I can't believe that their first album is almost 20 years old already. (Which is the same for Limp Bizkit as well. And speaking of Limp Bizkit, if you've ever been a fan of them, Hed PE just might be the band for you too.)

The only song I've ever listened from them is "Suck It Up". And I like it. They sound to me lika a mix between Faith No More and whatever generic nu metal band pops out of your mind.
