He took a fun song based on an iconic guitar riff and removed the fun and the riff.

I actually really like the Highway To Hell cover. The industrial sound is great. It's a side of Manson we didn't see during 1999, and he never fully went through with that sound, even on albums like Holy Wood and TGAOG, which are very industrial.

The riff was removed, oddly, from the chorus. If it stayed, the sound would've been better. Still fun though.

Oh and he also did a cover of Golden years for another soundtrack
And there was also Apple of soddom ,the suck for your solution and the long hard road out of hell who only appear on soundtrack
So..he did it quit a lot
You can't include Tainted Love, it was an extra on Golden Age. Long Hard Road was treated as an EP. If you're going to consider either of those songs then Killing Strangers and especially Cupid Carries A Gun are special tracks as well. Both of those were initially only for soundtrack purposes only but he wanted them on the album.

But, you basically proved my point. It's been one hell of awhile since he's one that. The last song I can think of that he recorded for something else and didn't put it back in his catalog was his cover of KKK took my baby away. So all in all, there's a sure chance this will be part of the upcoming album. ACSS quality had vibes of Ministry and the like...so it'd be pretty fitting this song is on HUD since he's claiming they're going 'back to roots'.

Tainted love was released on the not another teen movie soundtrack in december of 2001 ,GAOG was release in 2003 ,so yeah it counts as a song he did just for a soundtrack ,the fact that he put it as a bonus on GAOG doesnt change that

When did LHROOH was released as an Ep ?? even the PM discography section classified it as a "singles from a soundtrack"

KS and CCAG are songs that were made for TPE but used for movie/tv show ,they don't even appear on either of their movie/tv show soundtrack

But you are right its been a long time since he did that ,but it doesnt mean he can't do it now

plus ,if you look at the tracklist for the AB soundtrack it says the song is from MM and Tyler Bates ,if it was from the album it would just say Marilyn Manson ,as i highly doubt the band changed their name for Marilyn Manson and Tyler Bates ;)
Sorry for my poor english ,i'm a french Canadian from Montréal
