It's 2017. Getting fired from Marilyn Manson's live band is a promotion.

Maybe he can upgrade to NIN lmao.

I was really liking the live line up, but as long as Gil, Tyler, and Twiggy remain...it doesn't matter.

The NIN part wasn't a joke. Being a NIN tech is a pretty prestigious job that has spawned multiple careers in music, see: Puscifer, APC, The Black Queen, etc.

I'm still begging for the day Manson wakes up and removes Jeordie again.

Word. And Paul Wiley. That dude's pretty sweet too, and fills in greatly when Tyler wasn't available due to his other obligations. I love this lineup too, especially the two-guitarist dynamic.

And Twiggy is SO sweet on bass. Listen to the intro to "We Know Where You Fucking Live" at the most recent shows. That bass is balls deep! Sounds almost like a TOOL bassline. Twiggy is great as a live bass player. As long as he's still in that band in some capacity, I'm happy!

Cost cutting measure. I love Dan, the bloke just seemed like a friendly pal, but he doesn't do much, especially this tour. Most of what you're hearing is playback. Though I do agree, the dual-drums for Scabbed Wings was insanity. I'm utterly fucking boggled that song isn't being played regularly. It's one of the best openers the band has ever had, and easily a highlight of every show.

By the way. Anyone notice that Paul and Tyler have pretty much switched responsibilities since last tour? I mean, I haven't seen every live performance, been vacationing for awhile and I'm not that fanboyish, but I've definitely been noticing that Paul is pretty much playing lead on a lot of the songs while Tyler is just strumming away, which was the opposite last tour.

And get rid of Twiggy? Christ man, just go already. Contrarianism for its own sake is just eye-rolling after like age 16.

Totally agree, I don't hate him personally, but i hate to see him on stage.
I'm so happy that he wasn't involved in TPE.
Just like Daisy, his time is done.

Agreed. And the Beatle should have let Ringo go.

Twiggy is as much a part of the MM aesthetic and sound as MM himself. He was an essential part of creating MM's distinct sound post-Spooky Kids. He may or may not be a great technical guitarist (I'm not qualified to comment since I am not a musician), but his presence is a key ingredient in the band. Plus, Twiggy and Tyler rocking out together on stage is pure performance gold. He also happens to be a great guy and very genuine off stage as well.

In about six months time, Twiggy's second tenure with Marilyn Manson will have lasted longer than the first, so you know, haters gon' hate.
