The one eye white contact, the pope costume, their imagery, logos, etc. Pretty obvious I thought.

Interesting. I see some similarities. But just because there are slight similarities doesn't lead me to believe that they are ripping off Manson. Manson didn't start everything after all. I think they pull the pope outfit better than Manson did. It's a lot more detailed and interesting. In a different style as well. The imagery, they use the Satan imagery without being overly cheesy and in your face, which I like. The lyrics? Ghosts lyrics, to me, seem completely different than Manson's. But maybe they've made more music since I've last listened to them. I just have their first two records. I'll agree to disagree.

A rock band mocking Christian imagery? Get out of town!

Ghost is a lot of fun....

Seeing He Is live literally sent me into fits of laughter... I felt like I was in a gospel church of Satan; it was fundamentally hilarious.

I thoroughly believe too many fans/haters take the music too seriously.

    Anywho, Alice Glass: still intrigued.

apparently earlier solo work, heavier than the most recent release

*reminds me of t.a.t.u. - i loved them rofl fuck all of you haters lmfao

Someday I would love to see Manson tour with Chelsea Wolfe. Picking Alice Glass is a great choice and I'll say it again cause it is.

AFAIK, "Stillbirth" and "Without Love" are the only two solo songs she's released thus far. But I feel safe saying that I still love her and her voice based on Crystal Castles being fucking amazing and the fact that both of her releases solo songs are very, very good.

Fred Sablan's actually touring with Chelsea Wolfe so we're ONE. STEP. CLOSER, fwiw!

But, yeah. Crystal Castles was phenomenal and Alice Glass solo is OUT-FUCKING-STANDING.

I am OVER THE FUCKING MOON with excitement about seeing seeing her with Manson AS MANY TIMES AS POSSIBLE. He sure can pick 'em! After The Pretty Reckless and Knee High Fox it's pretty obvious that Manson reallllly likes having hot chicks in kick ass bands as his openers, lol.

And OMFG THE POTENTIAL FOR DUETS.

    O_O
