    Default Misheard Lyrics

When I first heard the Dope Show, I always thought he was saying "there's lot of pretty, pretty worms" then I found out it was "Ones" and I was stunned. Any of you guys had misheard lyrics issues?

I remember reading somebody thought the lyrics of Irresponsible Hate Anthem were: "America can nazi anything'

Not sure who posted it long ago but...

    "I've got a blackened soul"

    They interpreted as

    "I've got a black asshole"

It still makes me chuckle to this day.

I actually thought that this was the actual chorus for Organ Grinder.

    "Fear is my real Hell!"

Lol I've posted that once, my mum thought that was the lyric.

BTW the actual lyric is "I've got a black eye of a soul" although I think he sings "I've got a black eye of soul", so you got your own misheard lyric there too.

Misheard and still debatable as the lyrics have never 'officially' been printed anywhere, but "Apple of Sodom". But the line that's always written as "I've trained the core to stop my growth." I always heard it and interpreted it as, "I've trimmed the cord to stop my growth." 'Cord' as in umbilical cord, because within context, it makes a lot of sense. I'm not sure what "trained the core" even means.

That's the ONE line in a Manson song I never knew for sure, because like I said, the lyrics were never officially printed as far as I know. The only lyric he ever officially confirmed was, "I got something you can never eat", in his book. But the line in question, I prefer my understanding of it. Whether that's the actual line or not, who knows.

I know it's not Manson, but I swear that what Maynard is actually singing in Tool's "Intolerance" chorus is actually "James Dio you lied", not "cheat and steal".

MM songs whom I've misheard, let's see...

It took me forever to realize that what I thought was "The hollow people" was actually "The horrible people" on the second verse of The Beautiful People... I can't listen that to this day... And I don't know if it counts simply as "misheard"; but I read and read on the Antichrist Superstar cd credits about M. Manson being credited for the pan flute... Until the first time I watched the live version of Kinderfeld on the Dead To The world vhs understood why.

Ah that makes it so much the better!!!!!

What's worse....is I even searched it and somehow picked the worst lyric site I guess (I lose a rank in Google-Fu). In my defense it I was half conscious and denied my coffee due to fasting for blood work.
    Anyhow terrific stuff!

I'm sure by now everyone knows to sing along with "bacon station".
My avatar looks like a mix of NIN, My Chemical Romance, and Chris Vrenna
