Nicely put. My overall takeaway was that is was two friends who bought their first camera making creepy faces and inserting gratuitous hot girls. The wall has been done in many horror movies, the masturbation was way overdone and neither shocking nor sexy, and the blood at the end was trying too hard.

Im a hardcore fan, seen him 40+ times since 95, and I dig HUD. I was hoping for something on the level of intelligence and thought provocation as he describes the songs in interviews. He keeps talking about movies. Sometimes being subtle and symbolic is more powerful than being over the top.

He did much better on this than on the WKWYFL video, and it's a different style.

I think this is the best video since Slo-Mo-Tion. I missed these visual treat things, instead of just random shit and Manson singing at the camera. Like, there's way more to digest here than the WKWYFL video, and I guess it's cool to have Depp in it too.

I still have no idea what the hell this album is trying to tell me visually or lyrically. Like 4 songs sound like EMDM B-sides and the rest are just kinda there.

Can't describe how happy I am to see the contact lens back! The two videos so far are awesome- his best in years. I just don't find Heaven Upside Down as listenable as The Pale Emperor.

I have never been a fan of Kid Rock nor his music videos.
