I still prefer the live because it is more resonant and relaxed, but this is not at all unusual for me. Luckily, due to the wonders of modernity, I can have both (all). Cake AND Sodomy XD
Lol. I think I liked the live version because I was used to hearing it performed live, and now I have the studio version, it's a bit different.

Wow. The song is #23 on iTunes main chart. Not rock songs, but overall. I think i never saw a Manson song so high on single sales.

I really like this cover, weirdly enough I didn’t really jive much with the live version. I really prefer the studio release lol.
A system organized around the weakest qualities of individuals will produce these same qualities in its leaders.

Yes, or good earphones. If you really want to enjoy some music you can't listen to it on computer speakers or shitty cellphone.

Yup. What was his last CD single? That Best Buy-exclusive version of Third Day/Deep Six? But before that it was Arma-goddamn-motherfucking-geddon. He doesn't do CD singles anymore.

Shame, since this is genuinely looking to be his biggest hit since "Personal Jesus". Still top 50 on the US iTunes chart -- vying for positions with Ed Sheeran, Nikki Minaj, Calvin Harris, and all that other crap. Who knows how higher this thing would've gotten with an actual b-side attached: physical sales, double streams, etc.

I wish he still released Physical singles. I can't add a Digital file to my collection! Plus the cover looks cool. Yeah, the last CD single was the Third Day box set. I remember going out the day after Christmas to buy it, it's fun to go out and buy a CD, than just downloading it. Oh well.
