Default 'EAT ME, DRINK ME': MARILYN MANSON'S GREAT, UNDERRATED GOTH ALBUM REVISITED

Read the new Revolver Article Here.

Thought this should be posted, because it's about time a Magazine recognizes and celebrates how Underrated Eat Me, Drink Me is.

Thank you for posting this. This was the first Manson album I got into when I was in school, and as years went on I wondered with the negative reactions a lot of fans seemed to have around this album if my love of it was driven by nostalgia or just genuine enjoyment. Now it's quite clear to me it's genuine enjoyment. I love this album, it's almost goth-pop in parts and it's unlike anything he'd really ever done before. He might have been an emotional mess recording it, but it created an album that stands out.
I just refuse to accept it's been 11 years.

Only published eleven years too late. Slow but steady.

Regards the album maybe, but then Revolver didn't get their major feature with Manson for EAT ME, DRINK ME until he was on tour with Slayer, after the album was released. They're also a much younger publication than some sources, which is interesting, because compared to other majors they've never turned their back on him, and have always given both his music and media presence a good rap.

Anyway, all you's magazines come back next year and tell everyone (from me) how The High End Of Low is one of his greatest. Ta.

It's no High End Of Low, but it's pretty good.
