Marilyn Manson has used his Facebook account to post, much like he started doing frequently with his MySpace in 2008, indicating that it is not a record company tool, and that he will continue to notify and communicate with fans using the page. His new status update was as follows:-
Marilyn Manson - This is the Marilyn Manson and I will be using this to harm the world, etc. Expect new things in the next day. Not just your regular fake book bullshit. I'm taking this back.
Also, the page now reads "Not Interscope" under Record Label, "Suicide Rock" under Genre, and Hometown; Hollywood, with the band members listed as Marilyn Manson, Twiggy, Ginger Fish and Chris Vrenna. Although unsurprising, this indicates also that Andy Gerold will not be recording or extending his tenure with the band past The High End Of Low tour, though that could change in future. read more...
Steve Macauley (YouTube account camets) has posted another live clip, this time of Little Horn, from The High End Of Low tour. Previously unconfirmed as genuine, the reports since Manson's birthday on January 5th have been revealed as true, he has proposed to Evan Rachel Wood, as congratulated by friend Rudy Coby via his Twitter account:-
Rudy Coby - "Congratulations to my friends MM and ERW on their engagement!"
Further well-wishes extend from us to them!
The following two photos were also uploaded to Marilyn Manson's official MySpace page today, click to view a larger version at MySpace.
Though not officially confirmed yet, a potentially dubious report that Marilyn Manson proposed to long term girlfriend, actress Evan Rachel Wood, has appeared at The Mirror. The story will be treated as open to dismissal at this stage, but if indeed true, then congratulations to the happy couple! _______________
